Assignments up to your neck? Not enough sleep? Boss is behind on your paycheck? Everyone has one of those week where nothing is going your way and you just can't catch a break. I know I do.
Well luckily for you, I have just the remedy for you. I call this my too-lazy-to-cook-but-I'm-hungry-and-have-to-eat-yet-I-don't-have-money pasta. Or The Cheap & Easy Pasta for short.
I cannot take full credit for this recipe because I did see it at the back of a can of soup I was idly staring at one random winter evening. But here is what you need to get started:
1 can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup
Whole milk
Half a box of the pasta of your choice
Ground black pepper
Olive oil
Salt
Once acquired, here is what you do with those ingredients:
1. Bring water to boil and add some salt (I prefer garlic salt). Cook your choice of pasta according to directions on the box. Once al dente, set the pasta aside.
2. Open a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soup and heat it up in a separate pot.
3. Pour whole milk into the now empty soup can, until at least half full. You can adjust the amount of milk you put in depending on how thick you would like your sauce.Stir until the concoction becomes creamy and to a simmer.
4. Add pasta and sauce together, sprinkle some freshly ground pepper and voila!
